My name is Barbara Lorraine Laing (PhD, MA, B.Ed, BA) and I'm a poet and teacher based in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.  On this site you will find information about:​

Currently I'm a part-time professor at St. Lawrence College, and I have been an instructor at Queen's University's Faculty of Education since 2014. I have over 20 years experience as an arts educator (Ontario College of Teachers) in community, schools, higher education, and adult learning. I have worked as a consultant with the Ontario Fire College, and numerous community arts organizations (see About ) to develop and enhance their programming. My areas of specialty are teacher training, curriculum design, creative thinking, arts education (drama, literacy, poetry, & memoir), and bridging the connections between spirituality and learning in schools and workplaces.​​​​
